A talk with uncle

"Uncle.. I need to tell you something, please don't be upset.."

"Yes, Haki. I'm listening"

"I...I can't be the leader of The Lion Guard." The cub close his eyes, he's waiting for his uncle to say something. He might be upset, angry, or really disappointed in him. But he can't keep this feeling anymore.

"Hahahaha! so that was it? Oh boy, this is why you've been acted really weird to me since yesterday?"

"Oh... ahh.. I-"

"No need to be worry little one, that's alright. Well, tell me, boy. What's made you think that way? C'mon, you know you can tell everything to your uncle."

"It's because.. about the training and ..things. Every time I'm playing with others, I'm just really small! Compare to my big brother, He's much bigger and stronger, actually, he's the strongest compare with other cubs in the pride, But I'm always the smallest and weakest of them all. I can't even scare some mice! They always said... not to me directly but I've heard... ahh I shouldn't tell you-"

"They said that you will never make a good leader of The Lion Guard."

"You know? But how?!"

"Your big brother told me, he's really worried about you, you know?"

"Really..." Haki look away, he's almost crying and he doesn't want his uncle, the mighty leader of The Lion Guard to see his weakness.

"Well, Haki... Look at you-" Kion places his big and strong paw on his nephew's head.

"Uncle KION! Let go! it's heavy!" The little cub trying to escape, but he failed.

"Sooo small! Too skinny, and not so strong..." Kion left up his paw

"But I'm sure that I can make a mighty Leader of The Lion Guard out of this cub.
You sure will grow up, faster than you can imagine. You will be a good leader, I will never give up on you, boy.
And you too should never give up on yourself. See that tree behind you?"

The cub turns around

"Yes, uncle."

"When I was a little older than you, I used to sit on the same rock that you are sitting on right now,
and I saw that tree since it was just a small sprout. It's been tough the flood, drought, and a terrible storm for many time, but it still here, never give up..."

Kion walking closer to the tree

"See? Even the small tree's roots can break the hardest and strongest rock. Everything had its time. Your time will come"

"And how do I know?"

"It's all up to you. You already have a great heart, no doubt on that. If you're a hard worker, keep study and learn from me....
Let's see if it's you or that tree who will break that rock into pieces first"
